The Case of Charles Dexter Ward is a short novel written by H. P. Lovecraft in 1927. It is a horror story that focuses on the mystery of the main character's past.
The author describes a lot of visual and auditory elements, which gave me room to experiment. One of the main tools I used to tell the story is images. This short book has multiple newspapers, letters and messages, which I created physically and then scanned it for the book. This offers a more realistic feeling to what the reader is experiencing (while also forcing me to not always rely on digital tools).
